The Farm

Nestled in a hollow along the Cumberland River lays Dueling Creeks Farm, 85 Acres of forest and farm land. All around the property you will find twisting creeks, multiple caves, lush forest and endless deer trails. The wildlife is stunning, deer, turkey, bobcats and foxes even the occasional eagle will make a visit. The property is scattered with Walnut trees and if you look close enough you will find a few PawPaw trees as well. One of the best parts about the property is the peace and quiet, oh and no cell phone service!

There is roughly 15 acres of farm land, we plan to have small animals soon including; goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and alpacas. At some point down the road we'd also like to have some cattle!

The GreenHouse

The greenhouse is one of four buildings we had installed, and by far the most important feature of our farm. This building comes in at 12' X 24', with thermostat controlled heating and cooling systems. With the greenhouse we are able to grow produce all year round, which allows us to have our favorite foods growing even in the colder months.

Our goal is to be able to grow as much of our own produce as we can, the extra produce doesn't go to waste, we can items and also sell our produce at the local farmers markets.

Blueberries

When we bought the property, it came with about 60 Northern Highbush Blueberry bushes. Blueberries can be used in so many delicious applications, pie, jams, wine or even just eat them straight off the bush! We plan to maintain these bushes for as long as we can, our biggest hurdle is keeping the deer from the tasty berries! Apart from being incredibly delicious, blueberry's are fantastic antioxidants and are very important for maintaining a healthy immune system.
